Ingredients

  • 260g of flour;
  • 1/2 teaspoon of yeast;
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate;
  • Grated ginger to taste;
  • Orange zest;
  • 110g butter;
  • 270g of honey;
  • 20ml orange juice;
  • 125ml of milk;
  • 2 eggs;
  • 50g of sugar;
  • Rosemary to taste.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 160ºC and grease cake tins.
  2. Mix the following ingredients together in a bowl: flour, baking powder, bicarbonate, ginger and orange zest.
  3. Melt the butter until it turns a frothy golden colour. Put it in a bowl with the honey, orange juice, milk, eggs and sugar and whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the mixture from step 2 to the liquid mixture until all the ingredients are well mixed.
  5. Distribute into the moulds and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. To finish, garnish with orange zest and rosemary leaves.
