Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts;
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
- 1 chopped garlic clove;
- 1 tablespoon of honey;
- 1 tablespoon of soya sauce;
- 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce;
- 1 teaspoon of chilli sauce;
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika;
- 1/2 teaspoon salt;
- 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar (optional);
- Sesame seeds (optional).
Preparation
- Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the chopped garlic and let it brown slightly.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce: mix the honey, soya sauce, chilli sauce, paprika and salt in a bowl.
- When the chicken is browned and cooked through, add the prepared sauce to the frying pan and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is thick and coats the chicken well.
- If desired, add rice vinegar for an acidic touch.
- Serve the chicken with sesame seeds on top, if desired, and accompany with rice or vegetables.
