Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • 1 chopped garlic clove;
  • 1 tablespoon of honey;
  • 1 tablespoon of soya sauce;
  • 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce;
  • 1 teaspoon of chilli sauce;
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika;
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt;
  • 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar (optional);
  • Sesame seeds (optional).

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into strips.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the chopped garlic and let it brown slightly.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce: mix the honey, soya sauce, chilli sauce, paprika and salt in a bowl.
  4. When the chicken is browned and cooked through, add the prepared sauce to the frying pan and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is thick and coats the chicken well.
  5. If desired, add rice vinegar for an acidic touch.
  6. Serve the chicken with sesame seeds on top, if desired, and accompany with rice or vegetables.
